who gave a proof to the challenging Fermat's last theorem, was selected to receive the Abel's Prize for 2016.
Abel Prize is one of the prizes in Mathematics considered to be equivalent to Nobel prize.

2015 A. M. Turing Award for "Critical contributions to Modern Cryptography."
